Rock anthems and pop singalongs share the spotlight at Candlelight: Queen vs ABBA, an evening of live music set in a softly glowing, candlelit room. A string quartet brings the songs to life in a way you won’t have heard before.
Queen fans can look forward to “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “I Want to Break Free,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.” ABBA fans get “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Waterloo,” “Super Trouper,” “SOS” and “Money, Money, Money.” They’re the kind of songs that have people tapping their feet and quietly singing along, and on strings they take on a fresh, surprising character.
Tutti Music’s string quartet performs live, with candlelight as the only light in the room. The setting is cozy and a little bit magical, a nice change from a typical night out. It works well for a date night, an evening with friends, a family celebration or a gift for someone who loves great music.
Join the audience at White Rock Baptist Church in South Surrey on October 30 or December 16.
