Surrey’s size and diversity brings with it many amazing stories and every member of our community and every visitor experiences Surrey’s six distinct neighbourhoods through a different lens. With such a wide range of things to do and ways to experience them, the real story of Surrey needs to be told using many voices from all walks of life.
Starting with six local photographers, Surrey Through My Lens proudly shares authentic photo essays that showcase what it is really like to live in and visit our community from various perspectives. Each feature focuses on one of Surrey’s six neighbourhoods and its visual storyteller. Every photographer has a deep connection with their community and neighbourhood that helps them say, “This is what Surrey looks like through my lens,” in a compelling and personal way.
