Surrey is known for its bounty of green spaces, parks, and trails that lead to spectacular views among beautiful second growth urban forests. A true nature-lover’s paradise, there seems to be a sizeable park at any turn, no matter what neighbourhood you may find yourself in.
Surrey’s newest trail, however, is not your typical walk in the park. There are stunning views and a LOT of adventure, but there’s an added bonus of a BC specialty: craft beer. The BC Ale Trail has been highlighting some of the best breweries in our beautiful province, and Surrey has collaborated with our neighbouring communities Delta and New Westminster, and breweries Four Winds Brewing and Steel & Oak respectively, along with Surrey’s Central City Brewing to celebrate just how well the ‘burbs brew with an Ale Trail to call our own.
So what exactly is an Ale Trail? It’s a choose-your-own-adventure style itinerary that combines craft beer, great food, and a Surrey specialty: the great outdoors. We’ve basically planned the ultimate long-weekend outing for those who thrive in the great-outdoors and love to kick back with a locally brewed beverage.
