About the Artist
James Groening, also known as Blue Sky, is a Cree artist and storyteller who uses Woodland Art as both a creative and healing practice. His work reflects a deep respect for traditional teachings and personal connection to culture, often centering around themes of identity, wellness, and Indigenous knowledge. James is known for his vibrant use of colour, symbolic imagery, and for creating safe spaces for cultural learning and expression through art.
