Celebrate cherry blossom season with a beginner-friendly rug-making class at Surrey’s only tufting studio. Create a 25x25cm Sakura-inspired rug from scratch, enjoy a complimentary seasonal drink from Everbean Cafe, and take home your finished piece the same day — no experience necessary. 

Slow down and create something beautiful this spring, exclusive to Tufted With Love’s Fraser Heights location. Also available this month is their Cloisonné Sakura Coaster experience.

• Beginner-Friendly Tufting Class: Learn how to safely use a tufting gun, cut, shave and glue your design together with step-by-step unlimited guidance and support.

Note: Can't make a workshop date or prefer a private experience? Book any time slot in March to create your cherry blossom rug at your own pace. Workshop sessions are social, structurally guided, and include a complimentary drink for the full spring experience. 

What to Expect 

Step into a cozy, welcoming studio and slow down with something creative. You'll be guided through the entire tufting process — from tracing your cherry blossom design to safely using the tufting gun, cutting, gluing, and shaving your rug into a finished piece. 

Worried about making mistakes? Don't be. You'll learn simple techniques to fix errors along the way, with hands-on support from the team throughout. Choose your yarn colours, work at your own pace, and leave with a 25x25cm rug perfect as wall art, a decorative spring accent, or a unique gift. 

Want to take it further? Add a small mirror directly into your rug design for free! A beautiful finishing touch that makes your piece functional as well as decorative. 

What is Rug Tufting? 

Rug tufting is a hands-on textile art where yarn is punched through a fabric backing to create a soft, textured design. It's tactile, meditative, and beginner-friendly, and has become one of Metro Vancouver's most popular creative workshop experiences. It’s a way to express your creativity in a controlled, supportive studio environment.
