March Events in Surrey

March brings us all sorts of fun on the calendar. Spring arrives, St.Patrick’s Day is here, and of course, there’s Spring Break to look forward to. Fill up your calendar with these fun family events and meaningful productions happening right here in Surrey.

Screwball Comedy

The unforgettable Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn were just two of the stars of the Screwball Comedies that were so hugely popular in Hollywood in the 1930s and 40s.  Fast-talking, gag cracking hilarity that had them rolling in the aisles back in the day, has been given an update and made even funnier by the foremost of popular Canadian playwrights – the brilliant Norm Foster. The Western Canadian Premiere of this affectionate and hilarious spoof featuring outrageous characters with the added spice of a mystery is brought to Surrey by the Royal Canadian Theatre Company. The run runs March 13 & 14 at the Main Stage at the Surrey Arts Centre (13750 88 Avenue), and tickets are available online here.

Celtic Fest
