Let the Light Shine at Bear Creek Lights

For the past 10 years, Bear Creek Park Lights has been a favourite of locals and visitors alike. Designed to bring light during a time of year when daylight is in short supply, this year’s display has been reimagined to bring nature to the forefront. For 2 weeks beginning November 4, Bear Creek Park, one of the City’s most vibrant parks and show gardens, will be transformed into a free, illuminated nature trail experience that highlights the park’s natural landscape.

New this year are guided Nocturnal Nature Walks because we all know that not all nature sleeps at night! Bundle up for this family-friendly, illuminated nighttime nature walk and  “discover nocturnal animals such as raccoons, owls, bears and bats and learn how they survive at night”.

Pre-book your free tickets to experience nature at night as you explore the illuminated gardens of Bear Creek Lights. Enjoy the magic of the lights with your friends & family from November 4-18 (except Remembrance Day, November 11), 4:30-9:30 pm.  Please note that tickets are limited, and only ticket holders will be admitted. Entry times are available every 30 minutes.  Guided Nocturnal Nature Walks will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and require pre-booking.

Bear Creek Lights is located in Bear Creek Park at 13750 88 Avenue.
