Their goal is to transport you to the streets of Belgium the moment you walk through the door—as they say, Europe is closer than you think. “Having the family’s constant encouragement, advice, and guidance was instrumental in overcoming obstacles and staying motivated during challenging times. This helped create a family bond and taught us how to create an environment filled with love, encouragement, and positive energy.“
“We encourage people to gather, enjoy a meal and spend time with each other at the café. Sometimes, people get so comfortable and enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere so much that they spend hours in the café. Anyone who stays a while ends up meeting new people or running into friends, creating a sense of community and togetherness.“
“When I first came to visit Canada in 1995, I noticed that there was not a place that resembled Belgium. So, I always had in mind that if I could open a café with a European style, people would be able to experience what living in Belgium is like.
The idea of opening a cafe that could bring people together and have a place where they could unwind with comforting food was all I wanted to provide.”
