Surrey Santa Parade of Lights – Family Holiday Parade in Cloverdale, BC

The Surrey Santa Parade of Lights is an exciting, family-friendly holiday parade held annually in Cloverdale, Surrey, BC, attracting visitors from across Metro Vancouver. Inspired by the famous 1997 Coca-Cola lighted truck commercial, partly filmed in Downtown Cloverdale, the parade features creatively decorated floats, vintage vehicles, lively marching bands, and iconic illuminated big rigs. Families line the streets to see Santa arrive in style, enjoying a magical community celebration filled with holiday cheer, dazzling lights, and festive entertainment.

Parade Highlights

• Dazzling Vehicles: Lighted big rigs, trucks, and festively adorned boats lead the parade, joined by decorated floats and vintage/classic cars.
• Vintage Vehicles: Beautifully restored vehicles add a nostalgic touch and holiday charm.
• Community Participation: Organized by the Cloverdale BIA and BC Vintage Truck Museum, with support from local organizations and volunteers.
• Marching Bands & Performers: Local bands and entertainers fill the streets with festive music and energy.

Santa Claus Parade Route: The 2025 parade starts at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds (176A St & 60 Ave) where they will turn right onto 60th Avenue before turning right onto 176B Street. The floats and trucks will turn right on 57 Ave, then right on 176 Street past Hawthorne Square, where they will turn right on 58 Ave and then left on 176A Street and return to the Fairgrounds. Organized by the Cloverdale Business Improvement Association (BIA) alongside the BC Vintage Truck Museum, local organizations. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation or gift item for the Cloverdale Community Kitchen, Surrey Food Bank & the Surrey Christmas Bureau.
