Cheer on 5,000 Rubber Ducks at Crescent Beach for a Family-Friendly Fundraiser
For one exciting afternoon, Crescent Beach Pier will be transformed into a quacking spectacle! The Ducktona 5000 invites families and the community to watch 5,000 rubber ducks race down a sheltered course, cheered on from the beach and pier. This fun event supports RCMSAR 5 Crescent Beach, a volunteer marine search and rescue team dedicated to keeping local waters safe. The top duck wins $1,000 cash, with additional prizes for the top 10 finishers.

Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025
Time: Race starts at 1:30 PM (arrive early to grab tickets!)
Location: Crescent Beach Pier, near Blackie Spit, Surrey, BC
Admission & Tickets
Duck tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and can be purchased. However, you can just come and cheer on the race.
