Surrey Farms Blueberry Festival
The free Surrey Farms Blueberry Festival returns July 11, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a day of farm-fresh summer fun. Visitors can pick their own blueberries straight from the field, browse the Farmers Market at The Gables for baked goods, handmade jewellery, and artisan gifts, and fuel up with food trucks and refreshments. Kids can keep busy with bouncy castles, face painting, and balloon animals, all set to live music from a local band. It's an all-ages outing at Surrey Farms (5180 152 St).
Berry Season in Surrey
Berry picking is one of the most rewarding ways to spend a summer day in Surrey, with local farms opening their fields for an authentic taste of the region's agricultural roots. Surrey Farms offers easy-access fields packed with seasonal berries, ideal for families and first-time pickers. A short drive away, Colebrook Heritage Farms sets a quieter, sustainability-minded scene for guests who want a more relaxed pick. Blueberry lovers should make time for Lidder Farms, known for friendly staff and well-tended bushes that make for a generous harvest. With picking season running June through August, Surrey's farms are an easy, sun-soaked addition to any summer visit.

Sounds of Summer: Free Outdoor Concerts
Every Wednesday evening this July and August, the City of Surrey's free Sounds of Summer concert series brings live music to parks and public spaces around the city from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The 2026 lineup spans genres and venues, from jazz at The Glades Woodland Garden and a Fleetwood Mac tribute at Francis Park to live band line dancing and salsa at Surrey Civic Plaza, plus a Punjabi dance troupe and workshop at T.E. Scott Park. No tickets, no cover, just live music in some of Surrey's best outdoor settings all summer long.
Beach Days at Crescent Beach
July is peak season at Crescent Beach, and it's easy to see why. The shoreline stretches for kilometres, leaving plenty of room to stake out your own patch of sand. Wade into the warm tidepools, cool off in the roped-off swimming area at Sullivan Point, or bring your own paddleboard or kayak to explore the calm waters offshore. When you've worked up an appetite, the seaside village is steps away, with restaurants and ice cream shops lining the waterfront. Summer is Crescent Beach's busiest season, so if a visit is on your list, it's worth planning ahead and arriving early.
