“Don’t dream it, BE IT!”
The Friday before Halloween is the perfect night to dress up and do the Time Warp. On October 30, Clayton Community Centre’s Performing Arts Theatre hosts an interactive screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a late-night gathering of costumes, callbacks and cult-classic fun.
This isn’t a quiet night at the movies. The audience is part of the show, with plenty of singing along, joining in and sharing the laughs with a room full of fellow fans. Come in your best costume or come exactly as you are. Costumes are encouraged but never required, and first-timers are just as welcome as lifelong devotees. No one needs to know the moves in advance, because the crowd will happily show you.
Audience advisory: This event is 18+ only. The film contains mature themes, sexual references and strong language. Viewer discretion is advised. To keep the fun safe for everyone, please use only the props supplied by the venue. Outside props such as rice, toast, confetti, water pistols and open flames are not permitted.
