The City of Surrey, in collaboration with Surrey's diverse cultural organizations and artists, have a variety of arts and culture activities scheduled as part of the Canada-wide Culture Days celebrations. Programming includes a range of free activities and events at several arts and heritage facilities. Experiences include coffee breaks at Historic Stewart Farm to play games and learn local history; the Fall Opening and Artist Talks at Surrey Art Gallery; Music Labs Open House: Recycled Sounds Project; the White Rock & South Surrey Culture Crawl; Weaving Cultural Identities exhibit at Museum of Surrey; and Clayton Community Centre Arts Day.

International South Asian Film Festival

The iSAFF returns to Surrey with a celebration of storytelling and inspiration. With the theme "CROSSROADS," this year's festival will feature 19 world premieres, including Lakshmipriya Devi’s debut feature Boong, which will open the event fresh from its world premiere at TIFF. In addition to feature films, the festival will showcase a diverse selection of 53 short films and five episodic series, making it a must-attend event for film enthusiasts.

Pumpkin patches will be open at Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch (opening day Sep 21), Rondriso Farms (opening day Sep 30), Port Kells Nursery (opening day Oct 1) and Arts Nursery Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch & Scarecrow Festival (opening day Sep 21).

Halloween Events
When fall rolls in we know that witching season is about to begin in Surrey, and residents and visitors know exactly where to go to experience a terrifyingly good time. The haunting runs from October 4 to October 31 at Cougar Creek House of Horrors with 5 haunted houses linked together for maximum terror. And don't miss the all-new DreadWorks, an immersive Halloween attraction combining live dark fantasy theatre with an hour of captivating, spine-chilling experiences at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. And the Bear Creek forest comes alive after dark from October 1 - 31 with a decorated forest, treats, pumpkins and arts and crafts at the Bear Creek Pumpkin Train.
