So, we decided that a little pick-me-up was in order and we pulled together some action-packed ideas centered around a visit to one of Surrey’s fabulous brewpubs.  If you’re looking for a perfect day out to explore Surrey’s brewery options and immerse yourself in some of the indoor activities that Surrey has to offer, keep on reading!

Russell Brewing
13018 80 Avenue
One of the original 10 craft breweries in Metro Vancouver, Russell Brewing Company has been creating some of the region’s best craft brews since 1995. With small batches, loads of expertise, and barrels of care, every craft brew is made with 100% natural ingredients, no preservatives and un-pasteurized to ensure only the best makes it to customers. Located at their head office in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood, the tasting room is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm, and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Be sure to check them out and raise a glass to these craft beer pioneers!

Bad Axe Surrey

Are your axe-throwing skills a little rusty … or maybe non-existent? Head to Surrey’s Bad Axe Throwing and learn how to throw in a safe, welcoming environment. A Canadian classic, they are the largest urban axe-throwing club in the world, and even have an axe-throwing league and championship tournament for anyone looking to get a little more competitive.
