Top Cafe’s to get your Pumpkin Spice Fix this Fall

Autumn is upon us and while we’re here for the fall colours, pumpkin patches and cosy sweaters, what really signifies the arrival of fall for us is when pumpkin spice lattes make their debut in coffee shops. And while this year, Starbucks, purveyors of the original PSL brought the warm, spiced coffee back earlier than ever (mid-August is not autumn, by the way), nothing tastes better than supporting our local cafes. Here are a few spots in the city to grab a cup of this fall treat.

Everbean Cafe
Unit 106 15331 16th Avenue
South Surrey

Tucked away inside the lobby of a health centre in South Surrey, Everbean Cafe is an oasis of happiness and coffee joy! Stop by and order from their seasonal menu, including a “real” pumpkin spice latte blended with house-made vegan pumpkin sauce made from real pumpkin puree! Pair it with a slice of Pecan Pumpkin loaf from To Live For Bakery and you’ve got a delicious combination!

Kaffina Coffee
Unit 100 2950 King George Boulevard
South Surrey

South Surrey’s Kaffina Coffee is known for knowing their customers.  Like, really knowing their customers! And the addition of seasonal flavours takes that perfect cup of coffee and makes it even better. Spice up your drink with seasonal syrups like pumpkin spice, maple spice and cinnamon, or order a Spiced Flat White – spiced with organic pumpkin spice syrup or a Pumpkin Tumeric Fog.

Trees Coffee
104 – 10299 University Drive
North Surrey

Wrap yourself in the cosy warmth of fall with a pumpkin spice latte from the newly opened Trees Coffee in North Surrey. And you’re going to want to order a slice of their Pumpkin Cheesecake as well. Creamy and rich, it is packed full of fresh pumpkin flavours. Perfect for Thanksgiving dinner, they have full cheesecakes available as well, but why wait?

Spent Grounds Coffee Roasters
108-19140 28 Avenue
South Surrey

Spent Grounds takes pumpkin spice seriously with a pumpkin spice cold brew and a creamy pumpkin spice latte. Top off this cup of creamy goodness with vegan pumpkin marshmallows! And it wouldn’t be a true PSL experience without adding a sweet treat! Pick up a vegan pop tart or a decadent cinnamon bun, both pumpkin-spiced, naturally.

Indigo Cafe
148 –  3388 Rosemary Heights Crescent
South Surrey

For a little taste of fall, head to Indigo Cafe for their creamy, delicious pumpkin spice latte and double down on all the fall flavours by pairing it with a home-baked carrot cake topped with cream cheese frosting! Or break all the rules and try their pumpkin spice milkshake!

Prado Cafe
13475 103 Avenue
North Surrey

Prado is heralding the fall season with their perfect pumpkin spice latte – a double shot of espresso, sweetened with pumpkin spice syrup and perfectly steamed milk. Of, if it’s time to give the PSL a break, try their Harvest Latte, it’s a blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and spices, sweetened with simple syrup and dusted with raw sugar. And don’t forget a treat! Not too sweet and just the perfect amount of spiced goodness, their carrot cake slice pairs perfectly with any of their fabulous fall-flavoured coffees.
