Why not switch it up with something a little more adventurous, and a lot more fun? We have something for everyone to make sure that while you’re discovering Surrey, you’re making the most out of your summer!

U-Pick Berry Farms

Experience first hand why Surrey has had a long-standing reputation for its agriculture.  Visit Surrey Farms where they allow customers to take part in the berry picking process themselves. It’s a unique way to enjoy the summer sun, plus, picking the berries yourself somehow makes ‘em taste that much sweeter!

Picnic at One of Surreys Parks

Surrey’s nickname just happens to be the ‘City of Parks’ as it is home to a whopping 200 of them! That means there is no shortage of beautiful areas to enjoy a nice picnic with some good company. Visit Redwood Park to unwind under Sierra Redwoods, the tallest species of trees in the world, or visit Green Timbers Urban Forest, where you can have a waterfront view of a lake teeming with rainbow trout.

PaddleBoard at Crescent Beach

With the Pacific Ocean right at our fingertips, aquatic activities are essential to fully experience a Surrey summer. There are many different ways to give this a try, whether it be by kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming or even boating. Be sure to check out the Sea to Sky Adventure Co.’s beachfront shack at Crescent Beach where you can rent paddleboards and kayaks!

Go Get Your Heart Pumping

Whether you’re a health nut, or simply looking to get more active, Surrey has many picturesque trails that can help get your blood flowing. At Mudbay Park you’ll find the Dyke Trail that consists of 20 kilometers of shoreline that expands all the way into Delta! Another local jewel is 1001 Steps that provides scenic beach views, and don’t worry,  1001 steps is a bit of an exaggeration!
