For over a decade, Bear Creek Lights has been a cherished tradition for both locals and visitors, casting a warm and inviting glow to brighten your November.
Nature in the Spotlight
From November 2 to November 16 (excluding Remembrance Day on November 11), Bear Creek Park, one of the city’s most vibrant parks and show gardens, will be magically transformed into an inviting, illuminated nature trail. It’s a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the natural landscape of the park from a completely new perspective.
New this year, come ahead of your booked timeslot and enjoy food trucks, live music and storytime at the giant lit tree near the spray park!
Nocturnal Nature Walks
Ever wondered what the world of nature looks like after dark? Wonder no more! Guided Nocturnal Nature Walks are back by popular demand. These family-friendly, illuminated nighttime adventures will introduce you to the creatures of the night. Raccoons, owls, bears, and bats – discover how they thrive in the moonlit hours. Bundle up and get ready for a unique experience! Note: Pre-booking is required.

To make the most of this breathtaking display, be sure to pre-book your free tickets. The magic of Bear Creek Lights will be on display from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM every night during the event. Please keep in mind that tickets are limited, and only those with tickets will be admitted. Entry times are available every 30 minutes, so choose a slot that suits your schedule.
Bear Creek Lights is located in the heart of Bear Creek Park, at 13750 88 Avenue. It’s an easily accessible spot for everyone looking to enjoy a touch of nature’s magic in the heart of the city.
