We all know that one person whose year revolves around Christmas. They don’t just enjoy the holidays, they LIVE for them. Gift ideas are collected throughout the year and meticulously recorded on secret spreadsheets, and if your Christmas decorations aren’t displayed by the last week of November, something is seriously wrong. These are the kinds of holiday-loving people at The Christmas Store at Potters Nurseries. Christmas for them doesn’t start in November or December, it starts back in January when the buying team starts searching the world for items to fill the Christmas store.

The Christmas Store at Potters Nurseries covers over 28,000 square feet, and the worker elves have had their work cut out for them transforming the nursery into “Christmas Central”. We’re not talking about a tree or two, it’s wall-to-wall Christmas ornaments, wreaths, lights, stocking stuffers, you name it! From traditional and tasteful to delightfully tacky and unusual, everyone is sure to find something that suits their decorating style.

An annual holiday shopping tradition for many, The Christmas Store at Potters is guaranteed to put you into a holiday frame of mind. Come and marvel at intricate displays, such as the Pretty in Pink front entrance display that greets visitors with thousands of magical, glimmering pink and white ornaments. Venture into the 3,000-square-foot Dark Room, illuminated by Christmas-themed canvas paintings and water lanterns. There are more than 30 themed trees throughout the store, including two massive, spinning upside-down trees loaded with white lights and decorations. New this year is an expanded “libations” themed section, Thru the Grapevine, showcasing the world of drinks, from wine-themed ornaments to gifts for lovers of wine, beer and holiday tipples. The Coca-Cola area has also expanded into an authentic 1950s diner-themed display full of nostalgic Coca-Cola ornaments and figurines. And MouseTown, a Potters favourite, is back and has been completely redesigned and reimagined! This automated village run by tiny mice is action-packed with ski lifts, cable cars and all sorts of moving parts that kids of all ages are sure to love.

For the loved one who has it all, fear not! There is no shortage of one-of-a-kind stocking stuffers (and stockings), toys, games, jigsaw puzzles, and nutcrackers in all sizes and styles. If there’s a lover of all things British on your list, be sure to visit the Great Britain area – it’s loaded with British-themed delights, including Corgi mugs, tinned cookies and Royal tableware pieces. There’s even an area dedicated to our furry friends! Petland is decked out with pet-themed tree ornaments, cushions and stockings.

Is there a foodie on your list? The Gourmet Food area has a huge collection of delicious products including lots that are locally sourced like jellies and syrups from Krause Berry Farms, cranberry salsa from Cranberries, Naturally and the addictive “Those Pretzels” … if you know, you know!

Bring your list and let The Christmas Store at Potters put you in a holiday frame of mind!
