Holiday Frame of Mind at the Christmas Store at Potters Nurseries
We all know that one person who doesn’t just enjoy Christmas—they live for it. Their year is a countdown to the holiday season, and gift ideas are collected all year, neatly organized in secret spreadsheets. If your decorations aren’t up by the last week of November, they’ll be the first to notice! These are the passionate holiday enthusiasts behind The Christmas Store at Potters Nurseries. For them, Christmas doesn’t start in November; it starts in January when the buying team scours the globe for the most unique and magical items to fill the store.
Spanning over 28,000 square feet, The Christmas Store at Potters Nurseries is truly “Christmas Central.” The dedicated worker elves have transformed the space into a festive wonderland, with Christmas decor covering every wall. It’s not just a tree or two—it’s a treasure trove of ornaments, wreaths, lights, stocking stuffers, and everything in between. From classic elegance to quirky, playful finds, there’s something here to suit every holiday style.
The Christmas Store at Potters has become an annual holiday tradition for many, guaranteed to spark festive cheer. Step inside and be greeted by enchanting displays, starting with the dazzling Blue, Blue Christmas entrance, where thousands of sparkling blue, white, silver, and gold ornaments set a magical tone. Take a stroll through the 3,000-square-foot Dark Room, aglow with holiday-themed canvas paintings and mesmerizing water lanterns.
Throughout the store, you’ll find over 30 themed trees, including two massive, spinning, upside-down trees, adorned with twinkling white lights and beautiful decorations. A favourite for many is Thru the Grapevine, the libations-themed section celebrating the world of drinks, featuring wine-themed ornaments and gifts perfect for wine, beer, and holiday cocktail lovers alike. For a nostalgic touch, the Coca-Cola area is a throwback to the 1950s, with a diner-inspired display brimming with collectible Coca-Cola ornaments and figurines. New this year is Train Town, a whimsical train display surrounded by moving carousels, an elevated Santa on a scissor lift, tiny skating rinks, mini ski lifts, and cable cars, bringing holiday magic to life in every detail.
For that special someone who seems to have everything, don’t worry—Potters has you covered! Discover a unique selection of stocking stuffers (and stockings), plus an array of toys, games, jigsaw puzzles, and nutcrackers in every size and style imaginable. Have a fan of all things British on your list? The Great Britain section is a must-visit, filled with charming British-themed treasures like Corgi mugs, tinned cookies, and Royal-inspired tableware. For the hard-to-shop-for guy in your life, the Men-Zone is packed with perfect finds, from soaps and slippers to scarves and spicy hot sauces. And for our furry friends, Petland offers delightful pet-themed ornaments, cushions, and stockings.
Got a foodie on your list? The Gourmet Food section boasts an incredible selection of treats, many locally sourced. From Krause Berry Farms’ jellies and syrups to Cranberries, Naturally’s cranberry salsa and the famously addictive “Those Pretzels”—you’ll find plenty to satisfy every palate.
