Birding Inspiration

On a serene walk through any one of Surrey’s 200 parks, there’s a big chance you’ll be visited by a winged-one who calls the area home. Surrey’s bountiful green spaces are home to a variety of species such as bald eagles, herons, ospreys, owls, red-winged black birds, woodpeckers, and many, many more. Whether you’re an avid photographer, an animal lover, or just enjoy the great outdoors, it’s certainly an experience to be treated to a song and experience wildlife right in front of your own eyes.

In the spirit of Surrey’s wildlife, we’re sharing some beautiful birding inspiration from our #TrueSurrey community! These photos were taken in a variety of locations throughout Surrey, like the Serpentine Fen, Crescent Beach, and Green Timbers Urban Forest.
